Environmental Mold Analyst            

Performs a wide variety of duties that assist the lab in acceptance of samples to sample preparation and/or analysis and preparing reports per published methods and SEEML Standard Operating Procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and/or analyzing environmental samples based on published methods and SEEML Standard Operating Procedures
  • Following quality control procedures as outlined in documented procedures
  • Preparing standards and reagents
  • Documenting all lab activities in applicable logbooks and databases (e.g. sample prep, sample analysis, standard and reagent prep, instrument maintenance, etc.)
  • Entering data into SEEML Laboratory Information Management System as applicable
  • Performing routine maintenance of equipment and instrumentation
  • Responsible for keeping applicable workspaces clean and safe
  • Disposing of samples and by-products per required procedures
  • Handling of waste products per required procedures
  • Reviewing data from other analysts, if applicable
  • Attending required company and department meetings
  • Completing required training activities within required timeframes
  • Analyzing samples with accuracy and within the required timeline
  • Promoting cooperation and teamwork among staff
  • Cross training in all departments within the company
  • Following SEEML policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Keeping all records or results of the test for any company information confidential
  • Following rules of the non-compete and non-disclosure agreements
  • Be on time and keep time off limited to not exceed the amount given each year.

                 Requirements:

  • BA/BS in a scientific field or 2-3 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred but -willing to train the right person

Front Office Assistant

Performs a wide variety of duties that assist the lab in all its daily functions.

Responsibilities:

Maintaining and managing our online amazon accounts in which we sell products. Keep inventory and keep in stock our products to sell. Service the customers and keep the online accounts in good health and control the overall experience and keep it positive.

Welcomes clients/visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone, answering or referring to inquiries on phone. Assisting clients with reports and any other needs that they may have over the phone.

Maintains security by following procedures keeping all info confidential within the lab.

Verify and log all projects into the logbook and maintain accuracy by monitoring the logbook.

Assigning SEEML Reference numbers and lab Id’s to all incoming projects. Scan Chain of custody into computer system and save into appropriate files in system.

Prepping samples based on required methods for each type. Speed and accuracy are again important to ensure we meet our daily time restraints for same day turnaround.

Typing and Preparing reports with speed and accuracy. Accuracy is vital to the job, and you must be comfortable with constant rechecking and follow-ups. Speed is a necessary skill; due to the time restraints it is essential to have all reports done on the same day.

Invoicing projects and accepting payments.

Follow all required Quality Assurance and SEEML Standard Operating Procedures that pertain to your position.

Entering data into SEEML Laboratory Information Management System (computers) as applicable.

Performing routine maintenance of equipment and instrumentation

Responsible for keeping applicable workspaces clean and safe.

Disposing of samples and by-products per required procedures

Handling of waste products per required procedures

Reviewing data from other staff members, if applicable

PLM Bulk Analyst              

Preparation and analysis of bulk and solid materials for asbestos content using PLM (Polarized Light Microscopy), PCM (Phase Contrast Microscopy), and all ancillary quality control procedures.

Determination of visual percentage and optical properties of asbestos and non-asbestos material.

Preparing and/or analyzing environmental samples based on published methods and SEEML Standard Operating Procedures.

Following quality control procedures as outlined in documented procedures.

Requirements:

Experienced candidates are encouraged to apply.

Minimum requirement HS Diploma or Equivalent.

Three years of laboratory experience either in an academic or commercial setting.

Associate or bachelor’s Degree in a Life Science: Geology, Microbiology, Biology, Environmental Science, and/or Chemistry background is a plus but

not required. Light microscopy, optical mineralogy/petro-graphic microscope training a plus.

One to two years of asbestos PLM/PCM experience preferred but not required – will train.

Candidates must be able to distinguish colors to perform analysis.

Must be able to work independently and with a team.

Must be able to work in a fast-paced setting, multi-task, and prioritize assignments.

Must have good communication, computer, typing, and organizational skills.

Available Shift:

Monday to Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., extra hours and/or weekend work may be required to meet business demands.

Software Developer

Software Developer with hands-on software platform experience in developing software platforms. The software developer should have knowledge in business analysis, and analytics. Must have technical knowledge in software configuration management and ability to deliver scalable solutions working with our vendors. Must be able to be at ease working in an agile environment and should embody a passion for continuous improvement and test-driven development and software delivery.

Responsibilities:

Lead the internal business analysis phases and process of developing SEEML LIMS – Lab Information Management system.

Lead the internal business analysis phases and process of continuous development SEEML CRM – Customers Relations Management platform.

Responsible for all SW releases by working closely with the vendors to make sure releases are fully tested and implemented according to the shared requirements.

Determines operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.

Investigates problem areas on issues reported the internal teams.

Follows the software development lifecycle.

Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.

Improves operations by conducting systems analysis and recommending changes in policies and procedures and make sure all are in line with accreditation requirements.

Test software development methodology in an agile environment working closely with suppliers and developers.

Provide ongoing maintenance, support and enhancements in existing systems as needed.

Collaborate cross-functionally with business users, project managers and other engineers to achieve expected results.

Provide recommendations for continuous improvement in the company’s different laboratories.

Oversee the NW infrastructure in all labs and work closely with internal teams to meet the needs and expectations.  Manage the relation with the IT support & maintained provider.
